Music Presence shows your friends on Discord what you listen to.
The app works with any media player — Spotify, Apple Music and even foobar2000. When you play music, it is automatically picked up and shown on your Discord profile for your friends to see.
Project timeline
Raise awareness of the project and find supporters to provide a stable income
Scrobbling is added
Supporters get to be the first to try it and give valuable feedback
Browser support is added
This is powered by a custom browser extension, which also lays the foundation for listening along with friends in the future
Initial listen along implementation
This will work by controlling a streaming service website with the browser extension
Continued development on listening along and creating an open developer platform to integrate third-party apps with Music Presence
With a little bit of luck I might be able to partner with streaming services to bring listening along directly to your music app
